while your life may not be glamorus I would still rather be out in the philipeans or some central/south american place with plenty of animals and enough space to live and even if it took work I would be happy.
everyone says theres are mean and flighty mine was a little angel not perfectly tame but was ok with handling/catching not mean to anything or anyone. She wasnt the best standerd of the breed more of a 3rd place bird but sill over all nice

the coldest they are happy at is probably 40-50's really happy around 70 anything lower then that we start getting the unhappy looks of "if you think im going outside your wrong"
So my chicken...Chicken is one naughty little prat shes a sphitz if it matters but she cries so much, when shes hunger, upset, tired, wants to go out, wants attiention. Basically when she feels her needs are not being met. She never used to be this way but I think we might have spoilded...

your egg should still hatch what i did when this happened with exotic birds I would put kids emomers glue over that spot and let it dry so it would form a spot like a shell. People will say it wont be able to breath but I have had eggs hatch that were in pretty bad shape and glued up
Yes my "friends" at the time decided they were done keeping chickens and told me to find them a new home and when I went to go pick them up my lone Chicken was there 30+ birds were gone and I was never notified. they had more then the ability to keep them they just decided not to.
