Are there any sores on the lump. cause I'm wondering if its liquid filled or puss-ey looking stuff filled. because if its puss then that would be a sign of infection.
Im not sure if I wanna hatch it because I just got 2 new duck bring my total to 17 and i am trying to hatch out a certain gentic trait in my muscovies I have.
I went out to my Duck pen this morning to mark a couple of eggs I'm going to hatch. And I found one of my ducks making a nest under the duck house. SO I reached my arm into the nest and grabbed an egg. I pulled out a green egg. this egg came from my wild duck I have, she sneaks her eggs into...

so the story here is rather funny.
The mamma here is muscovie and little one I originally thought was her and her dad's kid. then she got more of her feather and colours. Her bio mum is a wild duck X domestic duck (her dad looks like daffey duck) and The father is gold Welsh harliquine. So what...
Ooh that makes sence now. When I was hatching i had an auto one but I think I took the turning shelf out cause when it turns, the duck eggs would move the top and let the warm air out, so I think removed it.
Ok my turn
I have 15 ducks and chooks (4 chooks, 3 drakes and 9 ducks or something like that)
Everyday when I get home before I can even get close to the back door the welsh harlequin and wild cross girls all scream at me, demanding food.
The abuse is terrifying.
Wow I've never heard of twins!
I've had a theory that it would be possible but unlikely seeing how there is only one air sack and it would be almost impossible for both to get their heads to it then to pip the shell.
I hope they hatch safely and healthy.
So it's been a few days now and I've been keeping an eye on her. She has turned out fine she's back up the top with the other at night, I don't know what happened but she's back, and she eating like normal but she is a bit more voilent towards the other chicks'.
