    Actually, last week, one did choose the railing. The rest just like curling up together. I give up. I’ve given a few more roosts to choose, but the seem content with their choices now.

    I did end up putting a perch in the playhouse loft. Thanks for the idea. One of them uses it. I guess they are all happy.

    I really appreciate your article. I have turned an Amish playhouse into a coop for my 5 chickens. they actually love just curling in the loft, or the floor. They choose not to perch most of the time while in doors. So I make my bedding cozy.
