Not at all, he's really a nice bird, it's more that I don't want to deal with fertilized eggs, and my neighbors are quite close and will not appreciate the noise.- FrenchLowcountry

Not sure why this posted before I clicked "post"-- rookie mistake. Anyway, I'm looking for a new home for my nice boy. He's not people-aggressive and takes nice care of his girls, but he has started to crow and my neighbors are not going to like it! He's too nice for the crock pot, hopefully...- FrenchLowcountry

Just to knock this out: (1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? Yes! I just got them in August when I finally moved somewhere that was rural enough to have them.
