Thank you all! I had seen someone post on another forum about wing sexing silkies and they said they could do it an be right every time so I was going with that. In any case, I sure hope it ends up as beautiful as that satin partridge!
Hello! Two questions! We picked up a pair of silkie chicks today. Wondering if anyone is great at the wing sexing method (they seem to be a day or two old, the yellow maybe older due to longer wing tips) and then also what color is the gray and brown silkie going to be? Please and thank you!
Picking up two 4 weeks old chicks tomorrow. One Serama and one silkie/olive egger cross. Thinking the OE cross is too young…. But how about the Serama??
My silkie hen just started crowing so that’s a bummer. Hoping both of these are pullets….. or at the very least one. Thank you!!
