We have 6 adult ducks and 3 ducklings right now. I clean the babies' tub just about every day right now. The bigger coop is usually every 2 weeks, but that all depends on weather. Oh don't feel bad at all!! I just have a couple of houdinis on my hands (this little duckling and my bloodhound puppy!!) If I can't get the panty hose to work then I may just let her be. I don't want to stress her more than she needs to be. As long as its not going to hurt the other wing joints. -

Well by the time I posted the last one saying that I had re-wrapped it, I had gone out to check them again (we are without power and using a generator-my puppy unplugged the generator so I went to the barn to make sure their heat lamp & room heater came back on) she had gotten the new wrap off... -

I saw that method as an option as well! Another one I saw was a t-shirt sleeve. If this wrap doesn't end up staying on for long, we may revert to an option like that. Sorry about that! My girls are Buff Orpingtons. I do not have chickens just the ducklings. I will need to mix the original feed with the new feed for a while to slowly get them on the new food but otherwise I don’t intend to mix them. It looked like the Nature’s Best organic was formulated for... -

That’s good to know about the Nature’s Best. We are in Michigan so it can be humid here too. I have their current feed in the original bag and that is placed inside of a metal tin with a tight lid. Will that help? -

They did have a Purina Flock Raiser and it was in pellet form. My girls are on a crumble and I’m not sure what age they should move up to the pellets. I would be concerned about them choking. My husband and I just noticed that they seem to lay down a bit more. They are laying by the waterer... -

Can ducks eat celery?
What about ducklings and the leaves on top of the celery? If chopped finely like I would with lettuce? -
Sneezing or Clearing Nares?
Ok perfect that seems to go along with what they told me. So we’ll wait on starting that for a few more weeks. And we’ll start oyster shells closer to laying.
