    Im just wondering is recycled paper okay for a chick brooder box? They are 5days old? Is there too much risk of them eating it? Where can i get pine shavings im finding it hard to source them?

    Day 10 and all going well 🤞🤞 lots of movement in the eggs. Do you count the day you set the eggs as day 1 if set in the morning? Or is the next day day1??

    4/7 chicks made it for me. So sad to loose 3 but greatful for the 4 others. 1st ever hatch......a little more stressful than I thought when it came to the hatching stage. 😅🙈

    There is no extra vent to open. The hatching mat (cardboard) is soaking wet and they just arent drying. All are out now. Could i remove them and put them under a heat plate for a few mins and clean/dry the incubator and then put them back in?

    Is there a chance my humidity is too high? I have 4 chicks hatched in a Brinsea mini but they are still so wet and lots of condensation on the clear glass of incubator. I feel they are just getting wetter not dryer from all the humidty in the incubator?? HELP!!

    Hey, i have chicks hatching now in a brinsea mini. The incubator is all starting to fog up. Will they have enough air?? There are 2 out and more pipped.
