    Chickens would have to be near other chickens that have mites in order for them to get mites. These little boogers were raised inside their entire lives, so they don't have mites. I even groom them everyday to keep them clean. 😊

    My mother's boss owns a chicken farm. They ship the white chicks off to the factories once they are old enough. Some of the chicks were born black or mixed.
