    😆 You're completely right 👍 But I'm just curious about the colour! The man I bought them from said they will be light grey and pointed to some older chicks who were cuckoo grey. But it doesn't really matter! They are cute 🥰

    I know it is wrong, but I bought 2 little chicks on an animal market this morning. I want to put them under my broody hen this night. She sits on 4 unfertilised eggs for 3 weeks now. But does anyone know what colour they wil be? And is it already possible to see if they are hen or roo?

    Hi to all! Sir Roderick had a hard time... 😔 Turned out he had worms, that caused him an infection and he started molting (in springtime 🙃). His comb and wattle totally shrunk away and went pale... So I took him to the vet. He got a lot of medicines (the ladies as well) and yesterday my husband...

    I tried it immediately 🤣 He replied immediately as wel!!! So can I easily say that he has no reason to crow? No thread, food enough, nice girls every day a new spot of gras to discover... Life is good for Sir Roderick and his lady's ☺️

    That's a great idea! I will try! 😊 If he reacts then at least I know there is nothing wrong. If he is still not crowing next morning, then I will accept that he is just happy and in no need to make noise 😁

    Maybe you are right... But even my son didn't hear him crowing this weekend. And I really do count my blessings! He is a wonderful boy. Nice to his girls and gentle and nice to me! He really is a gentleman 😍

    I saw him mating with Antoinette and Beatrice is lower in the order, so I don't think that is the problem. Maybe he is tiered or indeed to happy 😁 But I love the sound... I hope he will start again later 😄

    I bought a nice Cream Legbar Rooster from 8 months a couple of weeks ago. 🐓 (His name is Sir Roderick 😁) When we got him home, he was alone. He looked very unhappy and miserable. He came from a group where he was bullied, so he had several scars on his comb and he had no tail... He felt lonely...

    🤣 You are right! It is a lot of dogs! We helped a lot of dogs which were dumped in the woods around us. We re-homed more then 350 dogs already. This 15 dogs are sick or crazy or old... I cannot re-home them.
