    They may have gotten trapped because I’ve chased out cardinals in there several times when they couldn’t figure out how to get back out. These were all starlings. There wasn’t any mouse poison in there but I guess they could’ve gotten into it somewhere else. It’s very strange.

    We live in Ohio so we have all of the above haha and yes the one gap is at the top of a door. The gap between the red and roof of the run is about the same I just couldn’t get a good picture.

    Got a new coop and run and they left some gaps. It is hard to see, but there is about an inch or two gap between the coop and the run and the more obvious one around the door. Would a rubber weatherstrip be good enough or would we need something stronger?

    That’s what I thought. I just wanted to make sure so I know what I’m dealing with. We’ve had chickens for about 1.5 years and this is our first loss, so it’s a hard one. Especially since my son loves them like pets. Especially Blackberry of course.

    One of my pullets has been sneezing. She was the only one so I thought it was allergies. Well it kept increasing so I started her on denagard. It has been 24 hours and she’s worse. She is now gasping for air. I gave her a megadose and have been using vetrx. Is there anything that can be done?

    I started paying attention and they definitely sort through their feed. I always just filled it when it was empty and didn’t pay attention but some of them throw the pellets out to look for the good stuff so I’m soaking their feed tonight and when it’s gone I’m switching to crumbles. Jerks haha

    She also laid this misshapen egg at around 11:30 this morning and the soft egg was at around 8:30 last night (the one in the pic). The other girl passed more soft eggs this morning.
