    Thank you. Learning everyday. We can't keep the roosters so will have to rehome them. Poor pullet will have to go with as she won't have a companion. We will have to start again.

    Hi, I am new to this to BYC. I am in California and am starting backyard chickens. We adopted four chicks from my daughter's classroom. We have our yard all ready (or so I thought) with a coop/run/range area for the chicks. Really excited to read/post here.
