Oh no. I'm sorry to hear that! I didnt know sugar gliders can not show sickness that must be horrible not knowing if they are sick. I know caring for an exotic pet can be harder then a normal pet.
Aw your sugar glider sounds really sweet! My sister wants a sugar glider for a pet as well. I think I'll do Basil for my hen since I keep going back to that name :D
I just love herb and tree names, I have a chicken named Willow as well! :) And my new hen is an Olive Egger so I'm thinking Basil is a good choice, But my siblings think it sounds more like a boys name to them.
Oh my goodness! She really does look exactly like that pullet, She is very cute :) Thats a pretty nice Olive green egg as well, You made me hopeful! I hope my dream of Olive eggs will come true.
Thank you for all the information, I'm going to think more about it, The seller might have more then one pullet she is selling. Though it might just be best for me to wait next year and hope there are some guaranteed Olive eggers.
They did well, when we integrated 5 pullets together, But since she might be alone it might now work, She is around the same age as our other pullets do you think if I put one of my pullets with her, Would this help the integration?
Thanks for the info, Do you think giving her a seperate space like a dog kennel next to the run would help introducing, Or will it still be tough to integrate?
I know I love her looks! We have a quite a few greys and blacks in our flock, So it would be nice to add more color, I worry she would end up laying a brown egg though thats why im hesitant.
