Thank you! I love the buff coloring and just hatched some chicks out to add to my flock but I'll make sure to do test hatches with them to see what genes they have.
I've been wanting to add some buff laced polish to my polish flock which has tolbunt and gold laced in it and was wondering if anyone has any pictures of the mix since I hatch frequently from that flock.
We just got some snow this year after 3 years of none. Twice this year with about an inch or 2 and all of my chickens were fine with it except for one of our silkie roosters who started screaming his little head off and running around like it was the end of the world as soon as his feet touched...
All of my chickens are on a 20% protein all flock crumble with free access to oyster shell flakes. They also get treats every couple of days that are a mix of scratch grain, black oil sunflower seeds and meal worms/bsf larva. They currently have access to a heated nipple waterer that's changed...
We have a frizzled gold laced polish hen that we thought was egg bound or injured since she was walking like a penguin after finding her with her saddle all messed up and pulling her wings back at an odd angle. Her saddle was removed but she continued the penguin waddle so we brought her inside...
#1 Cheeky and her sisters(Fry, Nugget, Atilla the Hen, and Cutie) on their first night home at a few days old. Cheeky may have lost her heart cheeks but she wound up being my only Sapphire gem with red lined feathers on her neck.

We're going to be very careful with the dogs being around the chickens. We're getting a very large run to keep interaction down while keeping the chickens happy and safe. 2 of the dogs will never be around them since they're a terrier mix and a hound mix.
