    Duck has a little cut

That's perfect! Thank you! It's not deep by any means, it looks like he might have poked himself with a stick or something. Nothing in their pen would have caused it. He was free ranging when I noticed it

    Duck has a little cut

Thank you! Im not sure what he did, he was free ranging and must have poked himself on a stick or something, it's tiny, I'm not sure what he did but I'll look into it! I checked their pen and couldn't find anything that would have poked him.

    Duck has a little cut

Quick question, what do you guys use on your ducks when they have a cut? I noticed one of mine has a little nick on the skin where his bill starts, it's hardly bleeding but do you guys do anything for that? Or should I just rinse it and leave it be?

    Ducky and Basil's first interaction!

As most of you who have see my posts might know, I took in an orphaned duckling that we named Ducky VanderQuack. We got him a friend a couple days after taking him in that we named Basil. Their sizes were drastically different and today Basil finally got into his temporary outdoor house to...

    What breed am I?

Ducky's breed has been a mystery from the moment I got him. Our guesses have changed several times from Silver Appleyard to Gadwall and even a gosling, but I want to see what you guys think he might be? He's a fairly decent size, has primarily black and white feathers with a green iridescence...

    Duckling with a swollen neck?!

I noticed while checking on Basil that the side of his neck is swollen?? It doesn't seem to be bothering him at all, he's still running around and eating and drinking just fine. It's warm to the touch and soft and kinda squishy.. has anyone had this issue? I did some research and read about 2...

Rip to my baby duck who died to My dog

Unfortunately, certain breeds have a prey drive. That isn't anything you did, you are by no means a terrible person. I am so sorry for the loss of your little duck 🥺

First time duck owner I've got a few questions :)

I unfortunately couldn't find him a friend in similar age or size but I got him a new friend today! I plan on brooding the new little one inside for a couple weeks until he gets a bit bigger and let them meet through wire fencing 🥰 thank you so much! I'm so excited to raise a flock!

First time duck owner I've got a few questions :)

I'll be getting some nutritional yeast today to give and a friend or two hopefully later this week! But I have a question, since this one is going to be significantly bigger than the new ducklings I'll be getting, are they okay to be housed together still?
