Thank you for your support. I didn't realize the bottom latch was unhooked and 3 girls got out and that's when the fox got them. I have since built a new coop a have added hardware cloth around the bottom with an extra 12" below.
I stated this spring with 5 black australoups lost 3 to a fox, added 4 more (2 months younger than the older 2). Just added a silver laced english orpington with black tail feathers (with beetle green) rooster. He is the same age as the 4 younger hens. I can't wait to see the offspring from this mix
