We bought these two ducks from a seller who didn’t know the breed or sex. I know the darker breasted one is a drake. Any ideas what breed they are? They look like drake saxony to me. -

We haven’t decided yet. We want some good layers and some for meat. We don’t want to force-feed the meat chickens. We just want to start being more self sufficient with our food. Any suggestions?- DuckMamaK

Do your ducks lay in the same place?
I have two crested ducks that are laying eggs in the same place every day. When they first arrived, the eggs would be in the yard in random places. For about 2 weeks, they started laying in the same two places: inside a little wooden house or right outside of it. Today I found all of the eggs...
