    Hmm interesting. It's from a local breeder, I was told it's an EE but the comb doesn't look like most EEs I've seen on here. She/he started off pretty much all white and the red feathers have come in over time. This was her about a month ago, she's in the front.

    Need help retrofitting a coop

    I forgot to mention there is a top hinge window on the right (east) side of the coop, it's 11" above the boards. If I take out 3 boards on the right side and set up the roost there, will it be too cold in the winter here in Virginia? There would be approximately 2 feet of roost on either side...
