What color is this silkie?
My girl looked just like that as a chick. Obviously she’s frizzled, but you can see the mix of blue and buff and some pattern on her tail feathers. She looks more buff in this photo, she’s pretty light in person. This is my current chick who also looks very similar to yours!- SilkieMama519

Aren’t those chest feathers so pretty!! The first one is throwing me off the most with that coloring. If it helps she only has bantams, no standard breed. And do you think the white is a silkie? She has no foot feathers, and smooth feathers. I was almost thinking a polish or spitzhauben mix? But...- SilkieMama519

About 4 weeks ago I had a broody hen whose eggs didn’t hatch. I found a breeder who gave me a ‘grab bag’ of new chicks to put under my girl.
