    so far only one has hatched, i assisted one of the others and its still halfway in the egg per the article but im nervous it won’t make it. the final egg still has like 2-3 more days until day 21 so that one is still developing and moving in the egg like crazy

    any advice? i placed 2 silkie/cochin mix eggs under my broody hen on 11/14, there was a few times where one of my bully chickens would kick my broody hen off of the nest and she would leave for almost an hour so the eggs would be cold and i was sure they died. i left them underneath her though...

    Christmas hatch

    keep us updated! i have a silkie sitting on 3 eggs currently. its day 19 for 2 of the eggs and day 13 for 1 of the eggs. the day 19 eggs weren’t completely under her yesterday when i went to check and were ice cold 😭 im unsure if they’ll hatch now and worried what will happen if only one makes it.
