Since two girls started laying the day after I removed him, I’m not sure if it was working? Not sure if it was stress or coincidence.

If I saw a male mate with a female & I know which eggs are hers, is it safe to assume that her eggs will be fertilized for the 10-14 days? If he continues to mate with her on days after (he lives with the girls), does the timer start over?
