HAHA well!!! It’s amazing how different AC males can look. Last two boys I grew, one had a long beautiful tail, slender build, and the other one is shaped like a ranchu goldfish
The ACs were hatched on April 19th and 20th, the EEs are from Wilco Farm Store but Id guess April 16 or 17. I got them just a few days later, since I’d wanted to hatch some Easter eggers for my dad but the eggs I got all failed :p
I made it from cedar fence boards, my favorite material. Very standardized and easy to design around, and they glue together very well. Painted with secondhand paint from the ScrapPDX store. It’s 32 square feet for 9 birds at the moment. Working hard on the coop as we speak
Yep, the smaller ones are all ACs. They’re my favorite variety. Graceful and good at ranging, easy to handle if socialized, never lost one to predation so far (though my rooster lost a few tail feathers). I think they’re just beautiful birds with great personalities once they learn not to fear you.

I don’t know why I’m so proud of this video, but I sing it to S whenever I socialize them. I try and socialize the birds every day so they grow up un afraid of humans.
