    Feeding cut grass

We've been at this for almost 4 weeks now! We're happy to say that our bullying chicken has stopped after isolation and we are so thankful. My husband also added a second 6' roosting bar and that has helped with bedtime bullying as well. Thank you for those those shared ideas. Now my question...

We had to isolate last night

Morning everyone, Well, we're a little over a week into owning pullets and we had to isolate our bully last night. She had escalated to unwarranted picking on another pullet to the point where last night/evening I noticed her feathers around her face and head JUST starting to be plucked. This is...

    Isolating a chicken

It appears to be made correctly. Bubbles...smells fermented. Any thoughts? Should I keep giving it to them...

How long to establish pecking order?

We're new flock owners. We have 6 beautiful Cinnamon Queen pullets. We've had them for 3 days. They are 18 weeks old. 2 of them have started laying. We're seeing one CQ not letting the others on the roosting bar at night unless we're there to put them on. And then today she appears to not let...
