We are located in Moorpark, CA. Please note that I've included an old picture, as it's the only one I have of them all together.
They all have their combs and waddles grown out now. They hatched around the end of April.
One white Sussex, one Rhode Island Red, and two Red Sex Links. All of them...
Sorry to hear about your loss♥️. I suppose I will have to keep her separated for the time being til I can find a place for her. Just sucks because she is attached to me and the others she grew up with. I'd rather find her someone where she can be safe instead of being terrorized by the others :/
I am trying to integrate a flock of 4 (~10 weeks) into a flock of 15 (~13 weeks). The problem is, the existing flock are red and black stars while my new flock are 2 red stars, a RIR, and what I believe to be a light Sussex.

My chicks are 6 weeks old. (They might be 7, but I'm counting from when I purchased them). One RIR, one light Sussex, and 2 Red Sex...

I currently own 4 6 week old chicks that I am slowly transitioning to my family's existing flock.
I have one RIR, one light Sussex, and 2 red sex links.
My favorite aspects of raising chickens are taking care...
