    Is this from molting?

    This is on top of the nesting boxes kind of underneath where they roost. Does this look like pieces of feathers or something else? I cleaned it all off and 2 days later it looks like this again. My chickens are barely laying eggs lately (6-7 per day from 24 hens). What do you think?

    What is this in or on my chickens’ poop?

    This is on top of the nesting boxes. It looks like little pieces of something?? Side note- my chickens have been laying much fewer eggs. Possibly molting? And probably unrelated, but a few eggs smell and taste fishy each day. So frustrating! Any ideas on all of this?

    I believe the dropping are from the past 24 hours. Whenever I see this, the manure looks composted, like coffee grounds. Would maggots do that?

    For the past two weeks, the poop in the nesting boxes and areas inside the co-op looks like coffee grounds. If you love it around, there are small white worms in it. They are not fat like maggots or long, kinda like small white earthworms. I have a video but don’t have a way to attach it right...
