    barracks/jail/brooder is up and running. Hen in question is currently a prisoner 001. Not goin to lie I feel a little bad jailing her not knowing for sure if shes the culprit. But she’s definitely the only girl with pristine feathers.

    As far as the all flock 20% feed. The calcium levels are substantially lower? Will that impact anything? I will for sure have oyster shells out but just double checking.

    Update, both broken feathers were removed completely and clotting powder applied. She took it like a champ and is currently gorging on some soldier fly larva. Thank you all for your help.

    Finishing up my 8 x 12 walk in coop. Looking for ideas for wall mounted bulk feeding systems for 12-15 chickens. Same with water. Located in norther IL. I would prefer to have something mounted to the wall to free up as much floorspace as possible. Thanks!!

    With a 6x 8 coop, and half acre of free range space I can’t imagine 12 birds not having enough space. That’s seems like more than enough. Am I missing something?

    Alright! Well looks like my weekend is building a new coop! 6 foot x 7 foot will be the new hen house. Moving them to the garage will be the next move. I need them to get a bit bigger so they can’t fit through the kennel fencing. Thank you!
