Did you try to reset the setting?
Your brand of automatic door is different from mine, so this may or may not work. Although, you could try to lock the setting your wanting by holding the main button or "opening button" you use to turn the door "on" after adjusting the "time" you wanted for...
Such a gorgeous pullet!
I probably can't tell you what exact variety she is, but her district tail length and body structure is a game breed. The long flared tail is a a clear feature along with the sleek body she is carrying out.
Hello!!
I currently have a flock of 4 hens, a Lavender Orpington, Black Australorp, Blue bantam Cochin and a Silver Laced Sebright. With my existing flock, I was curious to know how many additions I would be able to have comfortablely in the next year or two from now. Since I had started this...
Poor thing, well she is definitely a lucky girl!
Is she a potential addition to your flock?
As for her barring, it's for sure different from a Barred rock, seems to be almost tighter. Although, I'm leaning toward a game breed from looking at her sleek build with her tall tail indicated some game...
Hello thecatumbrella!
I actually have a blue bantam cochin, miss Pipin. I'm pretty new to this breed, but she was very on top of taking care after her feathered feet, but we can't all assume the same characteristic for all. I did originally have sand in my backyard, but put down wire and weed...
Ok, thank you so much!
I assumed it was from a potential injury, but I don't understand what she could have gotten herself into since I monitor my birds whenever I let them out, although they've been in their hen house only most of the time because the run is still being fully wired for them to...
Hello everyone, just a few weeks ago I had noticed my Silver Laced Sebright's corner eye bubbling. Except now, just this week I looked at her eyes, and her waterline looks to be not even as the other eye. Her right eye almost looks like it was trying to heal itself from an injury?? I'm not quite...
I agree with cavemanrich, although your golden laced hen could definitely be part wyandotte, but seems to be crested as well. My guess would probably be silkie
since many of these mixes come with smooth crests, any extra toes on her feet?
Your chick looks to be a pullet, her smallar red wattles and thick rounded crest gives clear indication signs she is a pullet. Especially since she looks to be either a silkie or even polish mix since her feather are smooth rather than fluff almost like fur of a pure silkie. I hope this helps...
Do you know what breeds 2, 3 and 8 are?
The two white ones are pure white. Btw #8 is absolutely an adorable personality, especially in that photo, what a cutie! 🤗
And #3 almost reminds me of a game breed with its sleek body and interesting mottled coloring.
What adorable chickie babies you've got!!
I would definitely agree with you on #2, so I'de keep an eye on that little as he grows. Although, all the other chicks pictured look to be girls so far in their development. Overall, them being 3ish weeks, they still have some time to grow, so checking...
Hello briansol, I saw your post about the glow lights, and I didn't see anyone respond, so I'de like to say I have purchased this product. Although, these guys did work during night time, this product was iffy when telling if they were actually staying or even turning on during night time...
Yes, this frizzle gene is definitely something special. And I'm so happy you get to say you can keep Ms. No Flap, she seems like one lucky girl to belong to you and your family! 😊
What a cutie!!
She definitely looks like she could turn out to be a frizzled EE indeed. By this age that she's at, she looks like a clear pullet as well! What beautiful patterns she grew in, and I'm sure the frizzle just adds to her personality! 😆🤗
I mean, I'de just thought I'de throw it on the table as an open option. But you may be totally right, personally I have not tried these coops. So, thank you for your input, so no one makes the mistake of owning one of these for your birds!
