    Dang, I'll have to look for another brooder then. As for now this is the temperature readings. I moved the lamp more to the far left so on the left it's warmer and the far right is around 87 degrees.

    I couldn't upload a video, so I made a gif of a recording from my quail pen. The lighter dirty cream quail is the focus. Does she have wry neck or an injury? I bought her from a craiglist ad about a month ago. I only have 1 male quail in the pen who does mount the girls. Maybe he mounted her too...
