    Its just going to take time, the feathers will fall out on there own. Pulling them is not a good idea because it can harm her and the base of the feather. I would wait it out, since Pekin don't really fly there isn't a ton of concern. Also in my experience, the flight feathers are the last to go...

    What we have is just a small dog house that sits on the edge of our pond, but I live in Texas, so the weather is a lot different. The duck barely if ever go in the houses now, opting to just stay outside.

    Sometimes it just works like that. I've had a completely dark brown Mallard come out totally normal.

    I would definitely keep them separate, sadly we have lost 4 of our beloved females to make aggression during mating season, better safe than sorry!
