    I discovered that my quail is broody today. I saw that she was sitting on the egg she laid so I put another one in her nest to see if she would put it under her and she did. Are broody quails able to hatch quail chicks?

    Maybe they do not have enough food holes for all of them to eat at the same time so they might be fighting to get food. You could probably reintroduce the lavender Orpingtons after they heal. My baby chicks also used to playfully fight but they are probably just playing rough.

    I think it’s cancer and I feel so sorry but I think you should take her to an emergency vet and say it’s an absolute emergency and maybe they could help. But I think her pooping is fine.
