Ok weird you say that. I have 2 sapphire gems that have both gotten feet problem. One limped for a while and eventually went crippled. She is still living to this day but has no use of her legs. The other one started hobbling around and I just wrapped it as if it were broken and she did fine...

I know this is late but I was just reading and crazy you say this because the same thing happened to all of my papas chickens and one of ours. They ripped their side open and took the head off. I don't know what it is either.
