They both are relatively quiet but the Swedish Blue(Daisy) is higher pitched and the Pekin(Donna) just rarely makes any noise. -

We have a Swedish blue duck and a Pekin duck, they are both four months old and i'm having trouble telling what sex they are. I think one of them might have curly tail feathers, but it's really hard because i've never had to check this before. P.s. I tried to attach files but it keeps erroring... -

But it says online that ducks can have electrolyte drinks? I was told by this guy on Facebook that he gives his ducks and chickens electrolyte drinks all the time. I am confused. (Also I currently use duck feed that I get online, but I also heavily prefer to make my own feeds for my animals... -

I compiled it myself, I posted it to get advice on how may I improve on it? I'm used to making my own rat food as well but I have been keeping rats way longer and know their needs inside and out. I'm still learning with ducks. -

I read that not only is it good to supplement their food with herbs but also that lavender helps soothe ducks and keep them calm. The propel has electrolytes, vitamin c vitamin E and vitamin B5 and vitamin B3(niacinide) in it -

Sorry to ask but, what genders are my ducklings?
I think my ducklings are somewhere between one week old and 2 weeks old but I'm not sure. I'm also not really sure how to accurately tell what gender they are. -

I have a black silkie hen that I JUST checked and she also has extra toes so yeah, I should have known. Sorry! I checked my silkie rooster and he doesn't have extra toes so he might not be a Silkie after all...- Tizri
