Any advice for using Elector PSP on 10 wk 0ld geese
I suspect by 10 wk old buff girls have mite or lice. Icaught a glimpse of what looked like irritated skin on 1 of their wing feathers. Haven't seen feathers loss other that breast feathers after they bath. -

You know I keep hearing if their coop and bedding is kept clean they won't get lice or mites. My girls are in a very large run at night inside a 3 sided pole barn. I clean their floor 3x a day if needed. Right now I have a dirt floor and put down large pine shavings for them at night. They... -

Ok you really have my attention by traveling with them. Would love to know if they are leash trained? How far do you travel but most important; where do you keep them once you arrive? Loved " reactions when they knew they were being watched by geese"!🤣 -

Oh my gosh- every couple of days? I have two brooders. One with 5- 1 polish buff lace, 2 buff brahmin, 2 wynadottes. They are messier than my other brooder with 11 silkies. I clean their pads 2x per day at least. You are lucky. I have beautiful pine flakes but to me they intensify the smell...- Pgw

Stromberg Hatchery

Is SANDEZIA POWDER safe to use around geese?
Anyone use this? I have a dirt floor run just for securing geese overnight and thought this would help with ammonia build up? Can anyone recommend a safe waterfowl/poultry disinfectant? You can also mix with water. Kills a very long list of bacterias/fungi as well. Thanks so much!!! -

You guys are free ranging? Do you not need to worry about hawks or owls? I guess a full adult goose is too large? My goslings are 51/2 weeks old and want to let them out to free range even with me there but am worried about hawks and owls. I have every predator except bears and mountain lions. -
