2 eggs yesterday and 2 eggs today from 3 chickens. If I'm right, my chicken with crossed beak did lay eggs for 4 consecutive days before taking a rest today. Considering getting another 2 chickens from different breeds.
3 more eggs today, one from each chicken. It seems that two of them lay almost daily and the one with crossed beak every 2 or 3 days. Still happy with the results.
2 eggs today from 3 chickens. I'm surprised, they usually lay 1 egg each 2 days, (probably since it's winter) and already got eggs yesterday. Not complaining either way.
Hi, they are leghorns, at least 7 months old (maybe 7 and half). The one I say looks healthy has red comb and wattle, meanwhile the other has pale red ones. I apologize for not having pictures with me right now.
I have 2 hens, which my grandma decided to move without asking me for some reason to another corner of the same the backyard, do you think this is affecting egg production? Both of them are old enough to start producing eggs, yet one has crossed beak, so is considerably smaller and undeveloped...
Thanks for this post, I've been dealing with a hen with cross beak, she is considerably smaller than her sister with the same age, even though is the one spending more time eating (or trying to).
Diffidently, specially for breakfasts.
I'm sure I have experienced all that without living in a rural zone. Just last week I was in the middle of the city, and some guy decided to leave their chickens walk around, without any fear of losing them it seemed.
Thanks everyone else for welcoming me.
Hello everyone, I'm from Mexico and recently started with a couple red leghorns (which I will make a post about them later), besides that I have experience in aquaculture. I'm also getting more chickens soon, so I hope I can learn a lot with you.
