Crooked Neck in newborn baby quail

Make a neck brace with a toilet paper roller lining the inside with a panty liner and size it to fit. Tape it closed on the outside. Start a mix of Nutri drench, poultry cell vitamin e and water. Give by dropper. I fixed a chick this way within 3 days to perfectly normal.

How do I DISINFECT my coop after chicken illnesses?

What I did behind avian Leukosis is literally shovel off the top layer of ground about 2 inches and then we actually used a shop vac and vacuumed the ground. Making sure there wasn’t 1 feather in sight. Used vinegar and sprayed ground, went back with Barn lime and then About 4” of washed river sand.

Disinfect run due to avian lymphoid leukosis?

I have a question. I think you might have an answer to. I had an leukosis sick flock. All birds have been culled as of today. I have three week old chicks that had not been exposed that came from a different breeder, but one of the hens that I had that was positive was laying, and I was not...

    Hello from East Texas

Yes she is. She was selling birds when even she thought it might be Mareks. I know because a lady I know bought 5 from her (she didn’t know what was going on) and posted it on FB, and the breeder knew I was waiting on the Mareks test to come back.

    Hello from East Texas

There is a group now formed in Texas to try to get some changes made on large backyard breeders. NPIP certification is a joke as breeders set on a $40 certificate with only having to do P/T tests. And both of those are pretty much eradicated at this time.

    Hello from East Texas

She knew there was a problem as first thought was Mareks and she said several ppl had accused her of selling them birds with Mareks. I’m just the only one that bothered to test. But it wasn’t Mareks.
