    Thank you for the explanation! The back of the coop has two large hardware cloth doors, the front has the two squares you see and then there is a little ventilation at the top. We used the cardboard over hardware cloth because of the cold weather, but we left some slits to still allow air flow...

    I appreciate this thread! Any chance my EE Georgina is a pullet? About 8 weeks old. Definitely one of the top in the flock and pretty sassy, but also loves to jump up and sit with me and is one of my most affectionate chicks.

    My thoughts exactly!! I was really holding out hope, but it is not worth putting them through all that. First time with chickens and it's sad when you bond with them LOL I would've never guessed I would get this many roos.
