New to the group, I had chickens 4 years ago, recently got a new flock, 3 buff orpingtons, 3 barred rock, 2 buckeyes and 2 light brahma. They all get along nicely, one of the barred rock started laying 2 weeks ago the smallest eggs are so cute, the other 2 barreds have just started squatting...
I feed mine a little bit of raw venison they are fine. Also any scraps left in the fridge, just as long as it's not rotten, the only thing mine won't eat are tomatoes and carrots. They love basically anything you eat, also chickens know what they can and can't eat.
