    Yeah, I decided a couple days ago I might be just giving her hospice and I am at peace with that. I found her in her back this morning, she is still breathing but I think she may not make it

    Oh, ok, let me look at the diagram again. Since I glued it seems like the crop may not be emptying but maybe it is the wall cavity... It is ok, this is all learning, these are my first set of chickens, and yes, this has been really hard. But I will have this info going forwards.

    Ok I flushed and cleaned and glued. She has some pretty bad wry neck now probably from starving. Gonna get nutridrench and give to her with some yogurt. Hoping she makes the night. Thank you for all your help, this is on of the hardest things I have ever done

    Ok thank you. I realize that maybe I was just feeling her bone and not an egg, when I gave her an Epsom bath she did pass stool, albeit it was mostly liquid. Thank you, I will do that, flush out her crop that way and administer the antibiotics

    She is pale, has been standing, has been ... Trying to hold her head up but it keeps drifting to the side. She was looking better three days ago. Now seems to be getting worse

    I have been giving her ledum palustre for puncture wounds. Again feeding her a mix of flock 911, raw egg, water, collagen and a little bit of goldenseal for potential sour crop.

    That is the wound and I have been cleaning it with my own version of Rooster Booster wound spray, goldenseal, comfrey, tea tree oil, etc. then covering it with honey to keep it hydrated and a piece of paper towel

    Bantam healing after crop torn open from animal attack

    Hi there, just looking for some advice. I have a chicken who has a crop wound and I have been tube feeding her because she also has an eye wound and is essentially blind so she won't eat from a dish or my hand. The wound is leaking and it smells... Like stomach acid, sour, like someone threw up...
