    Thanks for the advice. I did rotate today to zimectrin gold since this was the time for deworming anyway. I never used zimectrin gold only febendazole and regular Ivermectin in the past…. Lo and behold a different chicken popped out dead tapeworms a few hours laster! Guess treating for tapes...

    I just saw that now there is a safeguard for chickens so dosing is more accurate… Unless you have a tapeworm issue then you’ll need a different dewormer such as praziquantel…

    The best advice I can give for this is to take a small piece a bread (dime size) and put the pea size or measured amount of dewormer past in the bread and sandwich it in.
