    I don't think it is bumblefoot yet, so I would treat it. you can use saline solution if you have it.

    I would provide eggshells or oyster shells, since they have about the same amount of calcium as what I use. My hens lay great, so I’m not sure what else is needed. I feed them Nutrena NatureWise with 17% protein.

    I don't know about protein, but i use the 17% and it works great. Like I said, I love this brand so much, so I'm pretty sure it is healthy.
