Hello! I am a show quality orpington breeder in Western Australia! And I am looking to introduce some new bloodlines into my current flock. What are some good orpington breeders that sells fertile eggs and is willing to post them to me in rural WA? (Bunbury region)
I am mainly looking for blue...
Okay, I will do. We are 90% sure it’s the guineas as they have been seen attacking other hens for no reason. We have 2 males and 3 females so the boys love fighting. And we’ve had small issues with hens attacking each other before but they’ve never gotten this bad.
We will apply the ointments...
Hello! We recently bought a white Orpington pullet to join our flock of white Orpington’s. In which the guinea fowls tend to stick with. After we added the new hen to the flock I noticed she tended to stay away from the flock. And one day I couldn’t see her and when I checked the coop she was...
We have lots of chickens as some of you may know, one of them is Baz and he is a buff Orpington rooster, he’s around 2 years old but acts like he’s 80
A vast majority of the time he is sitting down in the shade somewhere and or eating food. And as a consequence of that he has gotten… very very...
Good news! The two boys have found a new home! I was talking to one of my chicken owner friends and I asked if they had room for them and some hens for them and they now have a lovely home!
And don’t worry about them being in too small of a coop as they are very often let out!
My mum absolutely loves growing vegetables in this very tall pot she has. One of which are rhubarb!
One day she was watering her rhubarb and noticed that it had a bunch of holes in it and a few leaves that had come off!
And she had always wondered what on earth was happening!
And one day I was...
Little grass update! Over a week ago I got and planted a patch of Bermuda grass seeds! And I made sure to fence it off and yesterday there was no grsss growing and I was a bit concerned but I looked this morning and a bunch shot up overnight!
I am very excited for it to grow and get bigger to be...
We breed show quality chickens, and more specifically Orpington’s. One of the colours we have is white Orpington’s in which we had to import the eggs for them from Victoria as all the Orpington’s that are bred nearby are buff and or 3 hours away! And after over 2 years and $100 spent on a nice...
Thank you! I actually asked one of the kids I have taught what ideas they have and she said pillow cases so it appears that pillow cases are an all rounder!
That sounds very good! I always loved flipping items into others and stopping things from goijg to land fill ect ect!
The resource centre that I volunteer with also has its own small op shop in which we can use fabric that isn’t selling or can keep some aside!
I love that idea! There’s alot of different things we can sew for too! Maybe after my students get a bit more confident in their sewing capabilities we can look into that!
Hey y’all! I absolutely love sewing and I volunteer at my local community resource centre in which we do lots of different workshops! At the moment we are currently doing a tote bag workshop which is beginner level where I also go over the basics. And I wanted to ask if anyone on here has any...
A gorgeous dress I made not too long ago! I sewed it myself with my mums sewing machine and I patterned everything myself despite having 0 experience sewing dresses before this and the only tutorial I ever watched while making this dress was to install the zipper!
A gorgeous rose in the process of going from a bud into full bloom in mine and my mums garden ❤️ I don’t know the name of it just yet as my mum planted it awhile ago and she forgot the name 😅 and I was a child at the time she planted it
