    So much better. I did separate at night, and proved the little ones with their own food and water. The vet recommended Kaytee Exact formula, and they have began putting on weight!! They even seem more alert and h7ngry for their starter feed!! Not out of the water yet, but it's looking up!

    Two of my young chicks are not gaining weight. As you can see in the picture. Here is what I have tried. They are on medicated started feed. They eat mostly the smaller pieces, so I crush some of it, but leave some whole. But they do eat regularly! Luke warm egg yolk- not super interested...

    I received a couple chicks from a farm store 3 days ago. (Added them to my brooder with the 5 day old chicks) They were one day old, both had pasty butt and both were slightly lethargic. I immediately got them warm, and started on medicated starter feed. On day 2, both chicks were acting better...
