    My sussex chickens are really gentle and nice to have around compared to the other breads. Their eggs are smaller (and prettier) and they WILL start laying consistent. Hang in there.

    Come get these laying hens for $55 each and some free eggs. I have 3 for sale that are 14 months old from "my pet chickens". Friendly gentle consistent laying breed. My young grandchildren can pick them up. I have eggs coming out my eyeballs. Too much to manage. Fun Easter surprise! RVA...
