Any guidance on the age range where this would be still acceptable? I saw a couple things that said anything less than 2 weeks but then I saw some stuff saying not even that long. It's a lot of mixed information out there

Without knowing to leave them in the incubator, we waited till the brooder was already up to 100 and then transferred them. But they are still a little damp. No drafts in the room and I even put a towel over the other half of the brooder to maintain heat.

That's my concern. I suppose I can probably try to find something around here before it gets cool tonight. Wasn't expecting them this early so I thought I had time to fix up the brooder.
The silicone was used Shore up the edges Of hardware cloth a top plastic. 100% silicone. It would not be in contact with the birds because it's on the top on the outside.

I agree with everyone about not taking any chances. It's supposed to be in the low 80s tomorrow so I'm sure it'll finish curing in the sun. For tonight, I found a large plastic tote and set that up for them. It should be fine for overnight. Thanks for all the input!
