    Yep my pair are doing well too! I have one hen one room their names are Jockey and Ryder lol they are sweet as hell and seem.healthy. large but they have slowed their growth and appear to be letting the other chick's catch up. Great news!

    I have a wyandotte mix that has this same thing happening. I've never seen her successfully molt and none of my other hens have any feather issues. her shoulders are bare and the rest of the feathers are just the shaft. they get lots of protein and I just examined her and didn't see any...

    Is it normal for Turkens to be this large at 4 weeks?

    I got 2 of the yellow Turkens from TS this year as well and they started the same size as the rest but have grow to double the size of their flock and they seem to be less hardy as well. both mine seemed to have a vitamin deficiency leading to trouble walking. None of the other breeds struggled...
