    Coop flooring and bedding material.

    I ended up putting peel and stick tiles in the coop floor. It’s covered with their bedding right now, which I went with hemp. In their run I have a combo of sand and hemp, but still trying to figure that out!!

    Yeah I was thinking of adding some sort of bedding on top of sand during winter time for sure!! I’ll stick with the method I have for the coop for now, it’s working, but for the run just going to take advice and see what works best

    I have 3 dark brahmas and now I can’t tell the difference between the 3 of them. I believe they all have the penciling like the hens should?! One does go after the others every now and then. So I’m confused. Thanks

    Hello! First time chicken mommy. As of right now I have 3 dark Brahmas, 3 rainbow breed chickens, and 2 silver laced wyandottes. They’re all 4 weeks old I live in Upstate NY and love to garden, hunt, and now love my lil chicks I’ve learned a lot from backyard chickens so far!

    Hi all. I have 4 week old dark Brahmas that all pretty much look exactly like this, not sure if it’s too soon to tell, but as you can see they’ve got some pretty big tail feathers and no combs as of yet! Any idea? Too soon to tell?
