I am doing a 4-H chick program where I get 5 purebred standard chicks. I will get the chicks at the beginning of March.
There are 3 breeds I have a chance of getting. I will either get Rhode Island Reds, Novogen Silver or Copper Marans.
I am hoping I end up with Marans
I still like the cross breeds but mine are show chickens so I can't have the crossbred chicks.
But since they are only the second group of chicks to hatch at my house I will probably keep them but I would like to try to not get any more crosses

My bantam Cochin hen jumped into the feeder and lays her eggs in there and then she covers them in feed so I have to dig around in the feed for 10 minutes trying to find all her eggs and just when I think I got them all I find another one
