    When did your golden comets start to lay?

    17 weeks (still no eggs) but she squatted today!! Right now it's a race between my golden comet and my white leghorn who's gonna lay first. Maybe by the end of August, I can post about my first egg. 😄 Edit to say the end of August, I don't mean by tonight lol

    Are My Leghorns Close to Laying?

    My understanding is that leghorn roosters have very large combs that stand straight up. She doesn't have any pointy saddle feathers and she doesn't crow. Edit to add (she doesn't lay eggs yet either lol)
