I haven’t seen anything unusual inside their beaks. The oregano, garlic, red pepper flakes and acv are good for their immune system and digestion and helping keep the worm load down. It’s definitely not what I’m smelling though.
I have two chickens, one around 12 weeks and the other 7 or 8 weeks old. They always have a runny nose that comes and goes with no other symptoms. I think it’s contagious because I got the older one a chick to keep her company and now they both have runny nostrils. It’s clear and kind of stinks...
These were sold to me as cream legbars. But the hen has a white chest and no rust coloring on it like I’ve seen on other cream legbars. The male has white legs instead of yellow. Are they just badly bred?
I don’t see any. I did treat them for lice a few months ago and was pretty sure I got rid of them. Maybe they came back? I feed them nutrena all flock feed so I would think they’re getting everything they need plus they’re free ranging and get kitchen scraps.
