Me too and will keep everyone posted and update new pics of the girls now that they are grown. Between work and daylight hours I only get to see them once or twice a week.
Really is a pretty bird and will get a better pic. Her colors are so pretty in person, we even changed her name to phoenix because of her color now. I am actually extremely happy having a green egg layer.
Eggplant and squash mine go crazy over. They never get enough of the seeds of both. Plus mush their whole face into the squash till their beaks are fully covered. Tomatoes they really enjoy too, but the leaves of my tomato plants they go crazy. They will fight for them
I have never seen those either and sounds like a solid choice. I am forever buying new stuff and trying new things. I agree about those waterers you have to turn upside down to screw on the bottom. They are annoying and can never fill fully.
I haven't seen those yet and will look into it thank you. And that's why i said if the study is accurate lol never know.
I can see them getting hot and rusted. I use a rent a coop waterer so never used the rubber or metal ones personally.
I have seen a lot of people changing over to the metal ones for numerous reasons and studies showing contamination in water and food. They are only a few dollars more for the metal ones, but the only downside is not as easy to get ice out of. Which I personally think is a solid trade off if...
