URGENT! His feet are shriveled and smell like a rotting corpse. I will probably have to make a vet visit after all... in the meantime, what is going on??
I stopped wrapping his feet to breathe, and 2 days later, it's so much worse.
Our chickens love scoby more than anything on the whole earth. It's filled with great bacteria for them, but we only give it to them on occasion, bc I'm not sure a lot of black tea is great for them.
I tried some rubbing alcohol, but I'm not yet ready to try surgery. His foot is improving and he is really trying to get back on his feet, so we'll see!
Infected foot: In between toes has black. The white fuzz is stuck on cotton. He leans on his legs a lot! Getting ugly looking there, too. Infected as well? Feet smell really dreadful.
Hello! I have a question about my 6 month old Polish roo, he has an infection on both feet with the left foot worse than the right. I don't think it's bumblefoot, the bottom of his foot sorta had a pouch filled with foul smelling liquid. I drained it out and have been spraying it with Vetyrcin...
Excellent article. Well thought out and written with beautiful pictures!

Any advice for handling ducks and them liking it?
My ducks are 4 months old and hate being held, a couple of them won't even eat out of my hand even when they're hungry. I've trained chickens before to like being held, it's always worked out, but Ducks just seem to be a little harder. I've been...
If I separate him in a small coop, should he be by himself? The coop can fit two, so I could include his girlfriend, but 1:1 ratio might be taxing for the hen, what do y'all think?
Thanks for the reply! I have heard that advice, but it seems to be working out for me so far. Maybe that'll change when the ducks get bigger?
Thank you! That seems to be the best answer to my dilemma, they have been raised together and sleep together no problems (my ducks are cleaner bc they have a big pen to roam), but I think you're right about mating season separation.
